Polyshield Foil Radiant Barriers can have many applications, but are mostly known to be installed in homes – usually in attics – primarily to reduce heat gain and reduce cooling costs in the summer, and to reduce heating costs in the winter months. The barriers consist of a highly reflective material which reflects radiant heat rather than absorbing it. They don’t, however, reduce heat conduction like thermal insulation materials.

Polyshield AgriBarrier foil/white, 95% reflective, perforated ceiling material has many applications. It is generally known for its superior performance in Agricultural Confinement barns. The white polyethylene surface makes for a superior washable ceiling material. Polyshield AgriBarrier consists of a highly reflective material which reflects radiant heat rather than absorbing it. An optional perforated material is available to control condensation.
